Allison Krabill, The Summer Camp Society

Starting as a YMCA overnight camp director just three days after college graduation, Allison Krabill has made a career growing camps. She began as the camp director at Warner-Tully YMCA Camp, moved to serve as the director of camp and youth programs at Camp Weed & Cerveny Conference Center (Episcopal Diocese of Florida), and eventually made a home at YMCA Camp Immokalee. During her time at YMCA Camp Immokalee, Allison grew the number of unique campers by more than 90%, the budget by more than 100%, and both the number of board members and amount of donations by more than 100%. Allison recently stepped back from full-time camping to focus on her newborn son and now serves as the executive director of The Summer Camp Society, a professional development organization for camp directors.
